I tried to get some good, non-blurry shots of their apartment. I love the wallpapered entrance.

Kay Kendall and Rex Harrison were a married couple in real life. Sadly she died a year after this film was made of leukemia and was never even told about her illness believing she just had an iron deficiency. Sometimes it's easy to forget that these beautiful famous people didn't have such perfect lives. I hope I didn't just make everyone feel depressed!

In the movies Sandra Dee might have seemed like the saccharine sweet girl who had it all, but from reading her biography I learned she had a pretty sad life. Here's to you, Sandy!

Gidget 1959

There have been many Gidget's but none compare to Sandra Dee. Actually in the other Gidget movies (yes I've watched and capped them) they were so annoying I was rooting against them.
