About 5 minutes in I realized this was a remake of
The Women. The original one is near perfect. This remake...well it was pretty to look at and interesting to see a take on it in a different decade with a different cast. There's also the awesomely bad Meg Ryan version (I do kinda miss Meg Ryan as the 90s romantic comedy It Girl). I think nothing can compare to that sharp witty dialogue from the 1930s and the strong female characters of that decade.
