So I really enjoy seeing other people's cool finds at thrift stores or stuff they almost bought or just funny things they find. My mom says life is like a thrift store, you never know what you're gonna find! she's never, ever said that. I've meant to do this for a long time, but always forget to and my phone is usually barely charged.
This photograph is not a print which is a rarity, but I'm not buying it for 20 bucks. Am I just getting poorer or are thrift stores getting more expensive? I say this to myself just about every time I walk into one...which gets annoying. I still want to feel like I'm getting a bargain.
This little table definitely has some potential.
I should read the back of Harlequin Romances more often because there are some real gems... and you know there's never a shortage of these things. The other one was funnier, but the photo came out blurry. Something about a lady who doesn't wear underwear. Now I kinda want to read this, Dammit.
Sometimes I can't tell whether something would look cool outside the context of a crappy thrift store, like this lamp. My theory is that if you have doubts then take a pass.
I just know that when the time comes when i do need to buy a cool vintage couch in great condition I won't be able to find one. That's just how it goes.
I always look for vintage books with cute covers for nice decor accents.
I thought the abstract shape of this dish thing from Finland could look interesting in a modern setting, but it looked like it had some stains and I've learned not to bother with anything stained.
This is just stuff I passed on from one trip, but I'm always on the hunt for more even though I really do desire a semblance of minimalism where I live.

Love thrifting. Can't do much of it currently, as I'm in the process of moving :(
